We have worked with a no compromise attitude and the end result reflects a hard working product that can go anywhere from the Kruger Park to deepest darkest Africa. As part of the development process and driven by public demand Abba Campers have registered with NRCS and Transport Dept as a Manufacturer and Builder. We can manufacture trailers and build Campervans, Motorhomes or any special project our customers need. The Abba Campers have evolved after six years of manufacture and nine years of development into a new high-tech beast featuring the latest in power and off grid management solutions, electric flush toilets and every convenience the most demanding campers might dream off. We will build this experience and technology into every new venture and product to the best of our ability! The Dream: The development of the Abba Camper has been a very personal journey. We have covered all possible forms of camping from old army tents to caravans. With just the two of us new travelling opportunities became possible and we found we needed a lot less. We went to Tanzania with an off road caravan almost got divorced, made it back and decided our days of caravan’s were over forever. But a trailer still kept us from going where we wanted to go most. There where roads unexplored, bucket list items calling, places to see that we were dreaming about, and a deep understanding never ever to under estimate the African bush. As most of you will agree the test of good marriage is one which can survive setting up a camp site. We were ready for our next adventure and so Abba Campers was born. Paris to Beijing without having to worry about ablution facilities, safe sleeping, fuel capacity, water, food storage, fridge/freezer or what so ever. Abba Rooftop Tent is a fiberglass bottom and dual top roof unit based on our ever so popular Abba Campers Queen-size bed. Not everybody can afford an Abba Camper but nobody has to suffer when trying to enjoy a few days in the bush with our hard earned holidays that are far and few in-between. The Abba Rooftop tent is as easy as our campers to open and close. It has an optional awning that can be fitted over the rear entrance! Ladders is telescopic offering easier access than fixed ladders with little or no adjustment. Say goodbye to condensation, heat and cold with our Fibreglass construction! Family is everything but when i saw how some people battle to support the children with a passion for horses, riding, show jumping, marathons it got my thinking! Ford Transit High Roof, VW Crafters, Mercedes Sprinters have been identified as the base units. Area direct behind cabin will have water tank, kitchen, stove, geyser, Fridge/Freezer, toilet, shower, based on customer needs. When horses offloaded, rubber mats and dirt removed, washed with own water, side protection panels are lifted to create bed and bunks.
