Items are generally delivered after receipt of payment, or you can choose to collect. However, we are able to tint, colour or wash according to your specific requirements. Table tops and seats have three to five supports (depending on size) instead of the usual two. This drastically reduces warping and distorting due to constant weather exposure. Two non-traditional diagonal supports to the table top provide extra sturdiness, preventing looseness and instability over time. Our bench design includes a footrest, providing a sturdy guide for an umbrella, eliminating the need for a heavy umbrella base. We can paint the benches according to your store colours. Like everything we buy these days, it all needs maintenance. Our cars (even those that cost in excess of a million rand) need to be serviced, maintained, washed, waxed and polished. Your wooden bench also needs to be cared for, and as we have, and still currently are, experiencing extreme weather conditions, we recommend that you keep them in a semi shaded area, out, and away from, full sun. At least once a year (preferably twice a year), wash down the set with soapy water. Fill all holes, cracks and open knots with a weatherproof wood filler, wiping off all excess and making sure it is firmly pressed in and smooth, then re-coat the entire unit (tops, bottoms, sides, and what is touching the ground) with an exterior weatherproof timber sealer or varnish, in a Mahogany tint. These are merely guidelines to use for maximum protection and life longevity for your Table and Bench Set.
