Event Wizards grew out of Via Functions, a small décor company established in Via Functions changed its name a few times, but always had the same owners. Event Wizards saw the light in 2006, and in 2009 the Event Wizards Empowerment Trust was formed. Though we are a Pretoria-based company, we work country wide and even sometimes (ad)venture across the borders to create corporate events, romantic weddings and other celebrations in our neighbouring countries. It is hard work, consistent quality spanning almost 20 years, and hard-earned professional partnerships with service providers who can make almost any event idea come alive. Bring us your event ideas and allow us to bring them to life. We love transforming factories and warehouses into stunning event venues. This venue was inspiration for the industrial look and feel and we had a special range on industrial furniture designed for the event. The Muses was great entertainment and our technical team made sure that the stage, sound and lighting was of top quality for the evening. We delivered an event where the concept, décor, entertainment and food were of the same exceptional standard of UD Trucks events in other countries. Are we allowed to say that to develop the decor concept of some events are more fun than others? Sorex Estate’s vast green lawns were the perfect setting for our white stretch tents. We gladly accepted the challenge for this rooftop event in the Pretoria CBD. One long table set under the pergola was dressed with black Jacquard tablecloths. The centrepieces consisted of black painted rocks and Perspex boxes filled with micro lights. Maggie and Martin was such a fun couple to work with and we had lots of laughs while planning their big day. Their fun demeanour and casual style was clearly visible in the design of their wedding decor. Blue and white cushions with various patterns were placed on the white Wimbledon chairs for the ceremony. A three day opening Launch of the new plant of Gogo Fruits South Africa, showcasing the latest technology in fruit selecting and packing for export. Local farmers and clients from all over the globe were entertained with golf, safari trips and gala dinners. The table décor reflected the contemporary nature of the business and their produce featured prominently. Our black rectangular tables were a perfect match for this event.
