We are well positioned in the tender and retail business market and also market a wide range of motor vehicle accessories. He served several companies in a senior management position and also consulted companies in his field of expertise. Andre Marais has extensive experience as marketer of various products both in the local and export markets. Mpho Mahanyele (BA Law) has extensive experience in Marketing and Sales and served several prominent companies in a managerial capacity. We are a close-knit company that draws on the extensive experience of our management team and is well geared to adapt to the changes that are taking place in the South African Motor Industry. Cabworld Vehicle Body and steel canopy Manufacture has an excellent reputation in the field of steel canopy and allied products manufacturing. Because of our production management team’s occupational skills and devotion to perfection, products were developed that became market leaders in our industry. Our expertise makes it possible for us to cater for any new development in the motor industry. Apart from being a major role player in the SA canopy market, we are also active in the manufacturing of 8 to 65 seated passenger bus bodies aimed at the local and export markets. The company maintains a high standard of machinery and tooling and this combined with a skilled workforce of 146, equips us to manufacture products of the highest standard at competitive prices. We are also an accredited member of the Retail Motor Industry Organization, the SA Vehicle Body Builders Association and registered with the Department of Transport as Manufacturer, Importer and Builder of motor vehicles. PLANT AND MACHINERY The plant and machinery are constantly upgraded and replaced, to keep abreast of technological development. CUSTOMERS Directly and as sub-contractors to all major motor vehicle manufacturers and fleet lease companies, we manufacture products for various Government departments, i.e. the South African Police, Health Services, Correctional Services, Metropolitan Councils and various Semi-Government Organizations. We are also well positioned with the motor retail trade and the general public. EXPORTS Markets in Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Mozambique, Lesotho, Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius and Malawi are serviced via agents in these countries and the UK.
