Crayon Kids is a unique and specialized learning centre for children. It is nestled in a safe, peaceful and calm environment. Our main aim is to create opportunities for the child to develop into a rounded person with regard to all aspects of the child’s developmental phases. The child should feel safe and secure as a basis where effective learning can take place. Learning through play & movement is of utmost important to the development of the child. We believe Learning takes places through experiences nestled in an informal structure. Persons who enter this learning environment are restricted and screened, with our aim to ensure that they ascribe to our vision & view the child through our eyes. A Crayon Kid is a little person who is confident and spontaneous, with the EQ to embrace life and create their own opportunities to develop & learn. Crayon Kid’s school community also aim to share & create resources which can be utilized to uplift the under privilege community schools in our surrounding area. Early Years establishments and Partner Providers work together within an ethos that celebrates flexibility, creativity, diversity and choice to deliver a safe and stimulating environment where children and adults learn together a planned curriculum, based on prior learning and play experiences, that develops the whole child appropriate challenges through which all children will realize their own potential opportunities. It is vitally important that you meet the child on it's level before you can start to guide them to see the world from the top of the tree. Our program and activities are planned to meet each child on their different level and learning pace and to develop the child from this point of departure. Crayon Kids set out to be a quality Child Care Centre and against all odds and many critics and doubtful outsiders, we have succeeded without compromising on quality. Many quietly shared our determination and vision and for that we are grateful, you keep us focused, steadfast in our principals & beliefs. We are surrounded by nature where your kids can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of a pollution free environment. Emergency evacuation plans are in place and staff is trained accordingly. Interesting topical themes are chosen to introduce children to the environment. The CSIR campus serves as an ideal example from which to learn. Well equipped playgrounds and classrooms designed with age appropriate criteria in mind. A great deal of time and money is invested to study and implement the latest research on brain and child development. This enables the school to equipped each area accordingly.
