The Guest Services Associate is the passenger’s go-to person on board. Responsibilities include answering any questions guests may have, and providing accurate, consistent information about the ship and ports of call in an efficient and courteous manner while maintaining a pleasant and accommodating demeanour. Applicants must have a passion for customer service excellence and be comfortable dealing with complaints. Applicants must not have any visible tattoos (when in uniform). Chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, hepatitis, Back or joint problems, epilepsy, anxiety/depression & HIV. Any impairing disability (includes the use of hearing aids, for example) The cost of the C1D VISA and any expenses incurred travelling from the airport-to-hotel-to-port will be reimbursed upon presentation of your receipts once you board. (You spend one night in a hotel prior to joining your vessel, booked and paid for by Carnival Cruise Lines). You will receive a full breakdown of all the costs along with a detailed job brief with your initial interview invitation. After receiving your application and it has been deemed suitable, we will invite you for an Initial Interview. During your initial interview we will coach you for your final interview, make sure you are thoroughly informed about the position you have been selected for, and check that your documents are in order. Final interviews are conducted in person by a representative of Carnival. As such, you must be prepared to wait a while between initial and final interviews. We will inform you well ahead of time as soon as the final interview date has been established.
