Her home language is Afrikaans even though her surname may be misleading. After school she went to England for two years. She came back to study dentistry at the University of Pretoria and finished her studies in 2006. She then did a further diploma in Surgery. She is one of the few dentists in South Africa who use CAD CAM technology to make ceramic crowns, inlays and veneers. She attended many courses and received further qualifications to do implant surgery. She loves working with children and they tend to relax when she talks and work with them.She is married and has two sons, she loves being outdoors and mountain biking is a big passion of hers. If she has time she paints and enjoys a good book.
