Fastrak opened its first store in van der Walt st Pretoria in September 2003. Stores are currently located in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Northwest and Limpopo. Initially selling both new and used electronics as well as furniture, the brand concentrated purely on electronics from the end of 2006, and then further made the key decision to only stock quality branded goods from the end of 2007.These decisions along with excellent location choice, and a customer focused approach has lead to the brand now recently opening their 15th store. Plans are in place to open further stores in the Northwest, Mpumalanga and KZN in 2013.

Fastrak is a retailer focusing on providing quality audio and electronics equipment to aspiring DJ’s and musicians as well as establishments such as places of worship,educational institutions and taverns.
