We opened our doors to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners in January 1997 and since then we have become one of the large st E SOL centres in South Africa. Our learners benefit from a supportive one-on-one relationship with their tutors. Our classes develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on a social, business or academic level. Devotion to excellence and quality ensures that our learners leave us feeling confident and competent. Our ESOL programme consists of 6 different levels from Starters to Advanced, furthermore our learners have the option of taking an internationally accredited ESOL examination since we are a Cambridge approved Centre. The Centre also runs preparation courses for TOEFL, IELTS and the Cambridge Examinations. It is on these principles that we have built our institute and we are proud to share our experience with you! It is a Cambridge qualification and is therefore a British curriculum, with international recognition. It develops writing, speaking, reading and listening in English to enable non-English speaking students to work or study in English-speaking countries and or English work environment. This qualification is for candidates who need an entry level qualification in order to function as part of a team within the administrative sector of a corporate environment. This qualification will give candidates specialist knowledge in the areas of Reception, Executive Administration, Financial Services and Banking. All the skills needed to make a meaningful contribution to the office environment. The qualification also makes provision for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This implies that the individual who has been working in an office environment and has acquired specific skills, but has no qualification, can apply for RPL. Candidates who need to present an IELTS or TOEFL score to a potential employer. The first complete and integrated IELTS preparation course, providing comprehensive exam skills development and graded practice. The first unit in each pair focuses on reading and vocabulary, the second unit focuses on listening and writing skills.
