He is also an admitted solicitor in the UK and Wales (non-practicing) and has settled various international commercial agreements in the IT, mobile, mining, clothing and franchise industries. Spearheading the litigation department, Tershia Ramjee’s drive and commitment to excellence has taken her from professional assistant at the firm to director, in which role she is actively involved in the day-to-day management of the firm, the staff and the firm’s finances on an executive/director level. Services rendered to the Public Investment Corporation range from collections on arrear commercial property rentals (and residential rentals), drafting of lease agreements, legal training, arbitrations, negotiations and litigation, legal opinion on legislation and general advice on the complexities of the property industry. Tershia acts as legal advisor in various litigious matters as well as on matters relating to employment and labour disputes, and Property Transactions. Admitted to the High Court as an Attorney in 2006, with right of appearance in the High Courts of South Africa. Carika has experience in property-related work in both commercial and residential developments and township management (ordinance and DFA) as well as extension of township boundaries and notarial-related work such as Notarial Tie Agreements, Notarial Servitudes, Notarial Cessions and Antenuptial Contracts. She is also quite an athlete who enjoys a good run and is a sportswoman at heart. Rochelle’s particular area of expertise is in the field of general commercial law which includes drafting commercial agreements (such as Subscription Agreements, Sale of Shares Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Shareholders Agreements and Buy and Sell Agreements), contractual disputes, formation of companies (including drafting bespoke constitution documents), forming new trusts, estate planning, drafting of wills and administrating deceased estates. She was on the Dean’s List of Merits for Exceptional Academic Achievement from 2010 to Admitted to the High Court as an Attorney in 2015, with right of appearance in the High Courts of South Africa. Levanya is employed in our commercial litigation department and has experience in commercial litigation, conveyancing and matrimonial (family) law, tax litigation, labour law, property law, criminal law and wills and estates (High Court and Magistrate’s Court experience). Levanya uses her spare time volunteering at charitable organizations supporting children and animals. Motivational reading and yoga also forms part of her daily routine.
