The RMCGF is without question the most prestigious and competitive karting event in the world. As usual the SARMC final round will have four scoring races on the day. Rotax stands for fairness and we always strive to level the playing field and reduce costs. Zwartkops International Kart Raceway is the newest world class international kart circuit in Africa. The circuit is just over 1000m long and a minimum of eight metres wide. A unique feature of the new circuit is the Bridgestone Flyover, where the circuit actually crosses over itself. And with automatic entries into the prestigious Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal in November for each winner of the six South African Rotax kart categories, the competition at Zwartkops will reach fever pitch, with all of these championships only being decided over the final four races scheduled for each class. While some races indeed saw expected results, others produced unexpected winners and a dramatic twist in the tail. With the prospect of entries into the prestigious Rotax Grand Finals world championship meeting in November up for grabs, the event drew a huge entry across all classes, comprising the majority of the current series contenders with a few surprise appearances. The Zwartkops based Rand Kart Club was founded in 1976 and is South Africa’s biggest karting club. Each chapter is concluded by a test, and features a lot of usefully tips and tricks, as well as track recommendations especially for your skill level. As a registered member of the Kart Cloud you will even see the profile of these drivers including the equipment they use. In accordance with the market demand, the development has been focused on consistency, to give the drivers the possibility to obtain constant lap times and better grip throughout an entire race distance. Dominic Lincoln scores his maiden National karting win in Race Two in the Junior Max class at Idube Raceway. Strong Western Cape contingent to take on the Gauteng and KZN front-runners. Karl Pitzer won the championship final in the ultra-competitive Junior Max karting category, in a fitting ending to his season which has seen him develop as a driver with each successive outing. Recent Motorsport Media reports would have one believe that EMR and MCP have a large box full of invitations to compete in the Rotax Max Grand Finals. it would be great to have more Southern Africans getting the opportunity to participate in the greatest kart racing event in the world.
