Our team is up and at it this morning preparing for services at all our campuses today. An Independent Private Primary School located on the Church Property. The Purpose of this school is to assist parents to train up a child in the way he should go and to define and develop each student’s mission. We know that if you’re new to our church or have never been to church before you could have many questions about certain aspects of what happens during the service. Giving is not only restricted to finances, different contributions are made, such as groceries and clothing to support the less fortunate in our community. All scriptures read during the preaching will appear on screen so you can follow along. When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit the bible says the evidence of that is speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit enables us to heal others and work miracles and so at some services you will experience a prayer line where people are prayed for. A dead church is unable to show forth the glory of a living God. One of these encounters we were convinced was angelic, call it naïveté, call it what you will. We have become a society so consumed with our own needs, wants and desires that we have even used our faith for these things and these things alone. Preaching the gospel is messy; it requires getting your hands dirty, it requires actually having to talk to people you don’t know, praying for someone you have never seen before in a place that is public and without the band playing gently in the background in the safety of the four walls of the church. And here is what I’ve learnt: that God takes a mess in someone’s life and turns it into a message, just like He did in my life and possibly your life too. Or that you simply use your faith and God for what YOU can get out of Him and have never given much thought to how you can use your faith to meeting a need that God has; the need that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth? As people begin to believe right, they start to live right; becoming the love and light in the darkest of situations or circumstances.
