TLT Mechcal was established in 2002 to manufacture industrial fans with patented designs using advanced composite materials to create a range of products that could be used for a wide range of applications. The company has developed proprietary software that allows for the creation of high efficiency designs that address the issues of reducing CO2 emissions and energy consumption while providing superior fan performance. Our first prototype unit was supplied to Grootegeluk Coal Mine in the Limpopo province for testing and trials in Added to this, the operators of the vehicles in which these fans are installed have been able to reduce overall maintenance and downtime. Every fan is designed for a specific application and is tailored to suit the needs of each client by matching the required performance with maximum efficiency. TLT Mechcal has been awarded several prestigious awards and our unique and technologically superior products have attracted the interest of several OEM's in the market. Although TLT Mechcal is in the business of manufacturing and supplying Fan systems to the market, TLT Mechcal is also a solution service provider. Added to this solution offering, we need to assist and support our clients in their ability to afford our product. To do this TLT Mechcal is introducing novel ways to support the mines in making use of our products through our shared savings initiatives, which allow them to pay off the fans by leveraging the savings on the actual electricity bill. TLT Mechcal has the capability to determine the spectral noise characteristics of its fans through both prediction and measurement. Similarly, a vibration measurement capability exists in-house. With over 25 years in vibration analysis and abatement, TLT Mechcal is a leading expert in this field. Solution of specific problems (for example pumps, fans, compressors etc) TLT Mechcal is at the forefront of innovation in the design and manufacture of industrial fans for a variety of applications for the mining, petrochemical, energy and steel industries, among others. Their high efficiency designs are able to outperform other products on the market while reducing CO2 emissions and achieving incredible power savings.
