We are based west of Centurion situated in a Valley with mountains surrounding the lodge. Nt’Shonalanga Valley Resort is a function venue catering for Wedding, Spiritual retreats, Conferences, and we offer lodge type accommodation.

It was started in 1999 by Mr Krishna Muthray who has extensive experience in the worlds of hospitality and tourism. On his retirement, the ownership of Nt’ Shonalanga has passed to his daughter, Hanita Muthray who has vast hotel managerial experience and a passion for delivering a quality experience to all her customers. Situated in a beautiful valley with panoramic views of African sunsets and sunrises, Nt’ Shonalanga provides a complete break from the stresses of daily life and a range of restorative wellness packages designed to elevate the soul and strengthen the inner being. Three conference rooms can seat up to 200 delegates and our beautiful Lapa overlooks a scenic dam, bringing conferencing guests views of abundant birdlife and nature at its best. Nischal has been working at Shonalanga for over eight years and believes in doing the utmost to ensure every client’s experience at Shonalanga is a truly memorable one. Marshal started working in the hospitality services in 2002 and brings a wealth of experience to the Shonalanga team across all departments. He has a passion for good food and fusion dishes and encourages our chefs to push the boundaries in delectable dishes. His past experience includes Emperor’s Palace, Andicio 24, Sheraton Hotel Pretoria, The Meat Co and The Executive Club. Timothy started working at Shonalanga in 2003 as a waiter and showed great potential. Today he is being trained as the operational manager. Mercy has been working as a massage therapist since In 2014 she was handpicked from a selection of therapist to work at Suntaluna Spa. She has undergone training with an Ayurvedic Doctor from India, Dr A Kulkarni and a qualified physiotherapist, Ms Hanita Muthray and is skilled in the different types of massage techniques and their effects. Rosemary has been working as a massage therapist since 2010 and joined Suntaluna Spa in She is skilled in deep, stress releasing massage and is our pregnancy massage specialist, with all the knowledge and sensitivity to bring expectant mothers the relaxation and pampering they need. Hanita has a Bsc in Physiotherapy and a Mphys in Sports Medicine and was encouraged by her father to bring her skills and talent to Nt’ Shonalanga in 2002, when she took over the running and management of the business. Hanita has extensive hotel managerial experience and her passion for health and wellbeing has formed the foundation of the development of the spa and wellness centre.
