At the moment Mariè has 7 years experience in doing payroll administration. The small to medium size business who would like to outsource their payroll. Bookkeepers, Accountants and Auditors (who choose to outsource their client’s payroll) Providing professional payslips (basic salary, tax and other deductions, loans, leave, bonusses, cash in advance); Providing monthly reports and making backups of all payroll information. We provide the same services to Bookkeepers, Accountants and Auditors and focus more on the individual who has his or her own business in this field and does not want to attend to the payroll of their clients themselves due to TIME and MONEY\. No salary payments when the payroll administrator goes on leave or sick leave. You only pay for the services delivered and therefore you save in the long run\. Peace of mind that all payroll related tasks will be taken care of on time. We deliver the following services regarding Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF); Handling the settling of UIF arrears, interest and penalties (company workers as well as domestic workers, gardeners and aupairs) Any employee who works for more than 24 hours per month, should be paying UIF by law. It does not matter how little the salary is, if they work for more than 24 hours in a month, the employer is liable to pay over the UIF to the Department of Labour. A contract worker issues an invoice for services delivered as agreed upon by both parties for the period they agreed on. When an employee becomes unemployed for whatever reason, or are unable to work due to illness, maternity or adoption leave, they can claim for a few months from the fund, if their previous employer contributed to the fund. It the employer did not contribute they are facing UIF arrears to be settled before the employee can claim any UIF. It is the responsibility of the employer to deduct the employee’s contribution and pay it over together with the employer’s contribution to the fund to avoid any UIF arrears. workers working less than 24 hours a month for an employer; learners; public servants; foreigners working on contract; workers who get a monthly State (old age) pension; or workers who only earn commission. Once the backlog has been settled you can now start paying over every month your and your employee’s contributions to the fund.
