We design projects in South Africa and the rest of Africa. The practice started in 1989 around a total team approach; meaning that the talents of each team member contribute to the design process. We have a strong focus on internal relationships which enables us to function effectively with speed and excellence. The main philosophy of the company is to design energy efficient buildings and to achieve this the following aspects are taken in consideration: Building orientation, sun control, special glazing, insulated roofs and walls, good daylight penetration, rainwater harvesting, PVR panels, motion sensors on light fittings and energy metering equipment. The firm has its roots in the 60’s when the older members completed their studies. On the other hand the youngest appointed architect graduated in This gives the team a broad base of past and present academic exposure and experience spanning over 51 years. Although we are a small firm with 12 staff members, we are able to handle large projects because of our total team approach. We strive to design energy efficient, modern and cost effective buildings to fulfil our client’s needs. The interior space is planned to ensure optimum use of the available floor area. We provide comprehensive project management to ensure that the building is constructed according to statutory regulations, detailed drawings and specifications and within the timeframe and budget. Wim has been a registered architect with SACAP since 1967 after completing his studies at the University of Pretoria. He was awarded with the prize for the most energy effective building and best integrated architectural engineering design in 1987 for Hatfield Christian Church Pretoria. He started his career with the National Department of Public Works. Pieter graduated from the University of Pretoria in He was the MD of an architectural practice for 12 years. He joined the company in 2009 and became a partner in He has a wide range of experience in designing and contract management towards buildings in the residential, commercial & industrial industry. Ivan graduated at the University of Pretoria in He also obtained a certificate in Project Leadership, Management and Communication from George Washington University. He has experience in the design and construction of educational, industrial and commercial buildings.
