WRSA is the national wildlife ranching organisation comprising individuals in the wildlife industry. Food insecurity is South Africa’s biggest challenge and is behind much of the unrest we see daily. It is a national challenge that we, as game ranchers, can do something about. We know this; it is built into and is encapsulated by our vision, mission and strategy documents. We must focus on and stick to our goals, intensify our efforts and make things happen because no-one else will do it for us. Our mission statement is to promote crocodile farming in order to achieve high quality standards and production volumes for the benefit of all engaged in the industry. To endorse management systems that take into account animal welfare issues and comply with the national objectives of sustainability and environmental protection.
